Kasauli is a home for Armed forces of India as well, all major units Air Force Station and Indian Army Unit is also there due to which Kasauli has successfully able to preserve its Flora and Fauna. 1. Upper Mall Kasauli

  • Upper Mall starts from Dhayan Chand Chowk, near to CRI Main Gate, Initially start with a steep climp uphill, passing by Colonial British Club now known as Kasauli Club, after which you reach Army Check Post, where you do your visit registration on Spot, from here you start getting views of the Plains of Chandigarh and Haryana.
  • Visit Sunset Point, Gilber Hill trail (A popular trail is also found on this road)
  • Further this road connects to the Air force station so there is no access to the private and public vehicle.
  • Surrounded by pine and cedar forests, Mall road of Kasauli offers stunning views of the Shivalik range and the plains below.

2. Christ Church Kasauli (A historical Landmark of Kasauli)

 

  • The town retains its British-era charm with old churches, cobblestone paths, and quaint cottages.
  • It is generally open for the tourist except Sunday, This is just in front of the Kasauli vehicle Parking.  
  • Christ Church, built in 1844, is a key architectural attraction.

3. Monkey Point (Manki Point)

 

  • The highest point in Kasauli, Monkey Point offers panoramic views of the surrounding hills and the Sutlej River.
  • This temple falls under the Boundary of Air Force, that is why people will see very less of this temple pictures on Internet as this area restrict visitor for taking any electronic items behind the Air Force station check post. One has to keep all their belongings in their vehicles or Locker available at the registration counter.
  • It is also home to a Hanuman temple and is associated with the legend of Lord Hanuman.
